Helping children thrive in a changing world

Growing up in Denmark and Singapore taught us different lessons about learning, but led us to many of the same conclusions. We experienced different cultures, educational environments, and ways of thinking, yet both of us came to appreciate the importance of strong foundations, curiosity, and independent thinking.

Those experiences shaped how we think about education. We came to value not only academic knowledge, but also the ability to solve problems, communicate clearly, think critically, and continue learning throughout life. We wanted to bring together the best parts of both our upbringings and create something that reflected the values we believe matter most.

Today, we see many of the same hopes reflected in the children in our families and communities. Across Europe and Asia, we see children who are naturally curious about the world and adults who want to help them grow into capable, confident, and thoughtful people.

We also believe families deserve digital products that genuinely put children's interests first. Kvasi is designed to be safe, ad-free, privacy-first, and free from manipulative monetisation. We do not sell children's data, use advertising, or rely on in-app purchases. We want technology to support learning without unnecessary distractions, pressure, or hidden trade-offs.

We believe parents should be able to understand how their children are progressing without having to wait for exams, report cards, or occasional assessments. Learning is a continuous process, and families should be able to see meaningful growth as it happens. We also believe great learning experiences should be accessible to more families through straightforward pricing, without essential features locked behind complicated tiers or constant upgrades.

We want learning to be something children look forward to. Through stories, quests, exploration, and progression, Kvasi gives children meaningful goals to pursue and new discoveries to uncover. Rather than relying on pressure or obligation, we aim to create a learning experience that feels rewarding, engaging, and worth returning to each day.

Inspired by Norse mythology, we are building the kind of learning world we wish had existed when we were children — one that values understanding over memorisation, encouragement over pressure, curiosity over compliance, and growth that remains meaningful long after childhood.
