Growing up in Denmark and Singapore taught us different lessons about learning, but led us to the same conclusion: children benefit from both strong foundations and the freedom to explore. We came to value academic mastery, curiosity, independence, creativity, and the confidence that comes from genuine understanding.

At the same time, we see many children spending increasing amounts of time consuming content designed to hold attention rather than develop knowledge. As technology becomes a larger part of childhood, we believe it should contribute more than entertainment alone.

When thinking about our own future children and the children in our families today, we wanted something different. We wanted a world that encourages curiosity rather than passive consumption, understanding rather than memorisation, and lifelong learning rather than short-term engagement.

Kvasi is our attempt to build that world.
