A world of wisdom

Asgard helps children move beyond learning individual facts towards understanding how ideas, systems, people, and knowledge connect together.

Seeing the world as a whole

Asgard, the Realm of Gods, helps children move beyond learning individual facts towards understanding how ideas, systems, people, and knowledge connect together. Inspired by the wisdom and perspective associated with the gods of Norse mythology, this realm encourages learners to see the bigger picture.

Here, children explore relationships between subjects, concepts, and ways of thinking. Rather than focusing on isolated pieces of information, they learn to recognise patterns, draw connections, and understand how different areas of knowledge influence one another.

As children progress, they develop skills such as critical thinking, reasoning, communication, creativity, and systems thinking. They are encouraged to ask deeper questions, consider multiple perspectives, and build a more complete understanding of the world around them.

Our goal is to help children develop wisdom as well as knowledge. Asgard encourages learners to connect what they know, think independently, and apply their understanding in meaningful ways, helping prepare them for an increasingly interconnected and complex world.

Thinking across disciplines

Knowledge helps us understand the world. Wisdom helps us navigate it. Asgard encourages children to connect ideas, think deeply, and apply understanding in thoughtful and meaningful ways.

Preparing for a complex world

The future will require more than information. It will require judgment, creativity, leadership, adaptability, and the ability to reason through uncertainty. Asgard helps children begin developing those capabilities.
